Paving Refurbishment

Block paving refurbishment and sealing is a 4 Stage process -

Step 1: The paved area is initially treated with fungicidal wash or weed killer to eliminate any fungal spores and algae on the surface.

Step 2: The area is then jet washed using a powerful rotary headed pressure cleaner to remove the build up of weeds, moss, dirt and grime that may have appeared over time. Any patches of oil should be treated and removed at this stage.

Step 3:  Kiln dried sand is then brushed into the joints to stabilise the paving and stop any lateral movement.

Step 4: Smartseal acrylic block paving sealants are then sprayed* onto the surface of the block paved area. This will enhance the look of the paving, increase its lifespan and give it much better protection.

* The acrylic sealant is sprayed in two coats to ensure each individual block and sand is well covered and to provide the most protective solution.
